Kent is best known for his current role as Zak Ramsay in Channel 4's ′Hollyoaks′.  Previous to Hollyoaks, he's had roles in Footballers Wives and Family Affairs and appeared on the stage in Oliver and Bugsy Malone.

Kent is an avid fan of Liverpool FC and can often be seen on the official Liverpool FC channel holding debates with callers and ex Liverpool FC legends.
