The multi award winning Lacey is best known for her portrayal as the troubled Stacey Slater in Eastenders.  Lacey originally auditioned for the role of Demi Miller but was offered the part of Stacey, a new addition to the hugely popular Slater family.  She first appeared on screen in 2004. 

Her awards include winning the Best Young Actor and Best Soap Newcomer at the Inside Soap Awards and TV Quick and Choice Awards in 2005.  In 2006 Lacey took home the awards for Best Actress at The British Soap Awards, Best Couple (which she shared with Charlie Clements) and the Best Actress at The Inside Soap Awards.  In 2007 she won 7 further awards including Best Actress, Best Dramatic Performance and Best Performance by a Soap Actress and was nominated for a further 5 awards.  During 2008 Lacey was nominated for an incredible 15 awards of which she took home 7 - again these included Best Actress and Best Storyline.  This year sees Lacey already being nominated for 4 awards and has won the Best Actress at The Inside Soap Awards.
