He’s got the looks, he’s got the charm… and it just works! Mega-star of MTV’s smash-hit shows ‘Geordie Shore’ and ‘Ex on the Beach’, self-professed lad Ricci Guarnaccio is gearing up for some huge international projects!
Newcastle born and raised, Ricci’s ambitious nature drove him to leave home at the age of 17 and follow his passion to London where he trained as a hairdresser! Learning from the best – Toni Mascolo of the famous ‘Toni & Guy’ powerhouse, Ricci soon opened his own salon in Newcastle and made a huge success of it. That was until a reality TV career came a-knocking!
After selling his shop, 22-year-old Ricci entered the Geordie Shore house in 2011 to record-breaking premier ratings – a clear indication that Ricci had huge pulling power with the MTV demographic. As part of one of MTV’s most successful TV shows to date, Geordie Shore’s reach extends to over 1,000,000 viewers in the UK, and smashed it’s competitors upon debut in Australia (both MTV and Network Ten). After filming at international locations including Cancun and Europe, season 6 wrapped up filming right in Australia’s backyard in Sydney 2013.
Fresh from his success on ‘Geordie Shore’ and a true testament to his popularity amongst the Geordie fans, Ricci signed on for a series of MTV’s latest reality offering ‘Ex on the Beach’ in 2014, keeping viewers hooked when he came face-to-face once more with ex-fiancé and fiery former co- star Vicky Pattison.
Ricci’s latest project once again sees the cheeky chappy burst onto our screens in the 7th series of UK’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. With his good looks, chiseled abs and charming personality, Ricci lasted 24 days as a housemate before being evicted with former fling Lauren Goodger (The Only Way Is Essex), 2 days before the finale.
Since his departure from reality TV, Ricci has toured internationally to sellout crowds across the globe using his likeable charm to make men envy him, and women worldwide want to be with him. More recently, Ricci jetted out to Oz with his right-hand man and former ‘Geordie Shore’ co-star James Tindale, fulfilling every man’s dream judging rows upon rows of Aussie bikini babes searching for Australia’s very own ‘MTV Worldie of the Year’.
Since becoming a household name, Ricci has amassed over 1 million followers on social media, a number that grows every day.
